Showing heart rate readings during a workout

If you have paired a heart rate sensor, your heart rate values are displayed during a workout. On the left side of the screen you see a block with the heart rate values. Here you see the following info: 

  • Your current heart rate (in beats per minute)
  • Your current heart rate zone (2)
  • Your maximum heart rate (percentage)
  • Recommended heart rate zone(s) (1)

If you have connected a heart rate sensor, you can choose different views of the heart rate block. You can do this via the gear icon in the top right corner of the player. Here you can choose:

  • Extended: All values are shown.

  • Simple: Only your current heart rate is shown.

  • Hidden: No heart rate values are shown.

Regardless of the chosen display mode (including 'hidden'), your heart rate values during the class will be recorded and can be viewed after the class for more insight into your training performance.


Are you using an Apple Watch? Then your heart rate during the class will also be displayed on your Apple Watch. When starting a class, your watch automatically opens the CycleMasters Apple Watch app.
