Is Yoga for me?
With Indoor Cycling you train primarily for strength, tension, and action. With Yoga, you practice just the opposite: rest, relaxation, and flexibility. Together this is a fine combination of effort and relaxation.
To train effectively on your spinning bike, you must develop a strong body and a strong core. With Yoga, you don't only train your core, but you put your whole body to work. A real full-body workout. Yoga offers many advantages when you do a cardio interval or endurance workout. Because the focus of Yoga is on breathing, you can control your breathing better during these workouts. You will also notice that you are sitting more firmly on your bike and that it takes less effort to keep your core strong.
